The Worship Leader will work alongside the pastor to develop and lead worship in a casual contemporary setting. The congregation and local community are a mix of ages, ethnicity, and cultural backgrounds. The right person may also help in pastoral ministry, preaching, and outreach efforts to the community. YOUTH/COLLEGE MINISTRY LEADER - Grace Baptist Church, Vancouver, WA
Work with and develop a youth and college age ministry for students ages 6th grade through college-age (25). It is a part-time (20 hours per week - required by insurance), bi-vocational position -- meaning that the individual would have to have another job whereby they earned part of their income until GBC could bring them on full-time. Salary begins at $900.00 per month, reviewed annually, plus a health insurance allowance of $350.00 per month after the first 90 days, a car allowance of $50.00 per month for 90 days, increased to $75.00 per month thereafter. YOUTH PASTOR - Orient Drive Baptist Church, Boring, OR
This person would be in charge of teaching a one hour Bible study Sunday morning and would also be in charge of Wednesday night youth group which is from 7pm-8pm with a dinner starting at 6pm.
They will plan youth events and organizing things like fundraisers and summer camp.
Hours are 15-20 per week (flexible schedule with some office hours and some hours meeting with students for coffee or school events).
The starting salary is $1000.00 per month with a possibility of a raise.
It would be great if the person was bilingual but this is not required.
The student size is any where from 3-13 per night. The kids are mostly christian and need some encouragement and Biblical instruction. We have a group of Hispanic teens that have been coming to our youth group (they all speak english but their parents mostly speak Spanish). KEYBOARDIST - Lincoln Street Baptist Church, Portland, OR
